APX Engineering Group, LLC was founded in 2016 with the goal of providing the highest quality engineering services to meet all our client’s needs and expectations. With decades of experience across multiple disciplines, we have a team of individuals who can rely on extensive knowledge of a variety of solutions that can be implemented to aid our clients in achieving their goals.
Matt Abbey
CEO / OWNER
Matt obtained his engineering degree at the University of Nottingham in the United Kingdom. His early career was concentrated in the highway design and construction industries. However since moving to the USA in 2000 he has focused more on the telecommunications industry, managing multiple engineering divisions on a national scale.
Todd M. Ryba
COO / OWNER
Todd obtained his business administration degree from the University of Michigan, and immediately moved into the Architecture and Engineering field. In the last 24 years, he has worked as field technician, CAD designer, Registered Roof Consultant, office administrator, project manager, office manager, and owner at four A&E firms. Todd’s primary area of business for the first 3/4 of his career was in facilities engineering, while during the most recent quarter he has shifted focus towards wireless telecommunications infrastructure.
Michael A. Phillips P.E., S.E.
CHIEF ENGINEER / OWNER
Michael earned his engineering degree from the highly-selective Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. He was immediately immersed in several areas of engineering study and lived in different cities during the summers fulfilling competitive internship positions. Upon graduation, he began his career with bridge design, then moved to designing commercial buildings. Since 2007 he has been involved with telecommunication site design. Mr. Phillips is currently a licensed Professional Engineer and licensed Structural Engineer in several states, primarily in the southeast and southwest regions of the United States.
